{"id":598,"date":"2020-02-04T09:02:24","date_gmt":"2020-02-04T15:02:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.biblionalia.info\/leah\/?p=598"},"modified":"2020-02-04T09:02:34","modified_gmt":"2020-02-04T15:02:34","slug":"updating-files-and-plans","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.biblionalia.info\/leah\/blog\/2020\/02\/04\/updating-files-and-plans\/","title":{"rendered":"Updating Files and Plans"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I&#8217;ve added two new files to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblionalia.info\/leah\/documentation\/\">Documentation<\/a> page on the site &#8211; my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblionalia.info\/leah\/download\/handout\/Tang-Dynasty-Games.pdf\">handout on Tang Dynasty Games<\/a> (taught at Magna Faire 2019) and my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblionalia.info\/leah\/download\/documentation\/Banbiv.2.pdf\">documentation on the <em>banbi<\/em><\/a> I entered at Magna Faire, Menhir, and Midwinter A&amp;S.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve got plans to revise the <em>banbi<\/em> documentation for publication over on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblionalia.info\/leah\/timey-wimey-garb-project\/8th-century-tang-dynasty-china\/construction\/\">Tang Dynasty Garment Construction<\/a> section, so you have a more easily accessible &#8220;how to&#8221; on this garment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In My Sewing Bag: Socks! At Meridian Grand Tournament, I cut out and stitched my first stab at a Tang Dynasty sock, but it was too tight across the bridge. New Haven, CT: Yale University Press.<br>  p. 246.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>There is an extant pair of Tang Dynasty socks from the Astana Cemetery, and we have a bunch of socks that date to the 8th century in the <a href=\"https:\/\/shosoin.kunaicho.go.jp\/en-US\/\">Sh\u014ds\u014din Treasure House<\/a>. I&#8217;ve pinned a bunch, and I&#8217;m working on separating out my currently <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/zealofzebra\/etwgp-8th-century-tang-dynasty-china\/\">very disorganized Tang Dynasty Pinterest board<\/a> into sections &#8211; with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pinterest.com\/zealofzebra\/etwgp-8th-century-tang-dynasty-china\/socks\/\">the socks being the first go-round<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And before you eyebrow at me, no, this is not my &#8220;check it off the list&#8221; post for February.
